through working together and meetings you can befriend interesting people and their passions, and thus be inspired to keep going!<\/p><p><strong>Events held in the Club are compatible with the study schedule!<\/strong><br \/>Students participate in events dedicated for a given semester &#8211; adjusted to the already covered topics, and inline with their needs as developing engineers.<br \/>This way, you take part in training that offers you more benefits, because you are prepared for receiving and understanding the presented material.<\/p><p><strong>KNi\u015a member meetings<\/strong><br \/>KNi\u015a holds meetings during which the members present interesting facts about the sector, studies, foreign exchange, etc., and discuss organizational matters (preliminary registration for events, proposing events by students, setting the dates and scope).<\/p><p><strong>KNI\u015a Bulletin<\/strong><br \/>KNI\u015a issues a bulletin that is available for download in PDF format from the website and Facebook page.\u00a0<strong>It contains:<\/strong><br \/>\u2013 interviews with teachers,<br \/>\u2013 interviews with passionate students,<br \/>\u2013 useful information about studies,<br \/>\u2013 reprints of interesting industry-related papers,<br \/>\u2013 summaries of top presentations from member meetings,<br \/>\u2013 presentations of your BSc. and MSc. theses.<\/p><p><strong>At KNI\u015a we carry out many interesting projects<\/strong>, we collaborate with elementary school, high schools and kindergartens, and we co-host conferences, workshops and shows.<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/knispp\"><strong><u>www.facebook.com\/KNISPP<\/u><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 our Facebook page<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1162\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1162\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"far fa-arrow-alt-circle-down\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"far fa-check-circle\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Water Protection Technology Science Club<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1162\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1162\"><p><strong>Research activities\u00a0<\/strong>related to wastewater treatment and water reclamation technologies in industry, participation in conferences, internships, publication of research results, collaboration with industrial plants.<br \/><br \/><strong>Club members have the following opportunities:<\/strong><br \/>\u2013 facing real-life technological problems and searching for optimal solutions,<br \/>\u2013 conducting laboratory- and technical-scale research at real facilities,<br \/>\u2013 participating in the research results implementation process,<br \/>\u2013 learning the art of design \u2013 the ability to look at systems through the eyes of a user and builder; design according to state-of-the-art standards,<br \/>\u2013 writing BSc and MA papers<br \/>\u2013 completing internships at businesses in the sector and industrial plants,<br \/><br \/><strong><u>How does it work?<\/u><\/strong><br \/><strong>Principle no. 1:\u00a0<\/strong>The role of the engineer is to solve existing problems, not to create new ones\u2026.<br \/><strong>Principle no. 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Always check if someone else had the same problem and solved it.<br \/>We teach students how to use science databases, acquire latest knowledge, and initiate cooperation in interdisciplinary teams.<br \/>\u2022If the problem you are facing is a blank spot on the map of technology \u2013 you are lucky \u2013 you might make a discovery.<br \/>\u2022 If the problem has been solved before \u2013 do not worry \u2013 there is always room for improvement \ud83d\ude42<br \/><strong>Principle no. 3<\/strong>:\u00a0There are no unsolvable problems.<br \/><br \/><strong>Research carried out by the Club:<\/strong><br \/>1. Utilization of carbon dioxide waste from beer production for the neutralization of brewery industry wastewater.<br \/>The system has been introduced at the Kompania Piwowarska brewery in Pozna\u0144<br \/>2. Reclamation of laundry water. Development of a water reclamation technology after the laundry process, aimed at making the water reusable<br \/>The system has been introduced in the MEDIJ laundry facility near Gosty\u0144. Currently, 50% of the water is reclaimed and reused in the laundry process. The developed technology is internationally competitive.<br \/>3. Water reclamation in the cosmetics industry<br \/>4.
